Lizalyn  was born and raised in Detroit, MI. As a girl, she loved math and science, as well as playing dress-up. After winning a national mathematics competition in high school she knew that math would play a major part of her future.  She went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan, and a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. Soon after graduation, she started her career as an Engineer.

In addition to working in the engineering profession full-time, she is also a mother who knows the value of saving both money and time.  By putting the valuable lessons learned throughout her life into action, she has found a new balance and confidence that allows her to flourish at home with her family and at work. As a blossoming author and online course creator, she shares her story and experiences to empower others to maximize and transform their lives.
